\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Margarita Amestoy de S\u00e1nchez Educational Foundation, FEMAS, was founded on March 7, 2019, under resolution No. MINEDUC-SEDG-2019-00040-R, issued by the then Undersecretary of Education, Ms. Erika Lainez.\n

\n\nFEMAS is a non-profi t organization whose purpose is to promote the methodology of thought processes developed by Margarita Amestoy de S\u00e1nchez in Ecuadorian society, in addition to designing and executing training processes with the purpose of promoting and establishing an accreditation system that allows institutions and companies to have a reference for thought processes.

\n\nIts objectives include:\n \t
  • * Promote the methodology of thought processes developed by Margarita Amestoy de S\u00e1nchez;<\/li>\n \t
  • * Design, implement and execute an accreditation system that enables institutions and companies to process thinking;<\/li>\n \t
  • * Create training centers to train and accredit professionals in the thinking methodology developed by Margarita Amestoy de S\u00e1nchez, so that they can use this mechanism to serve citizens.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Accredited institutions and companies in the thinking methodology system developed by Margarita Amestoy de S\u00e1nchez.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Develop training workshops, preferably focused on educational topics and the development of business human resources.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Publish documents and produce educational material aimed at improving the quality of education.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Coordinate its activities with other national and international institutions that are related to the objectives of the Foundation.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Develop research programs, consultancies and promote studies and publications aimed at achieving the Foundation’s objectives.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Promote the development of educational quality in Ecuador, through programs aimed at developing and strengthening research and creativity, with the support of national and foreign researchers and educational institutions with an emphasis on the development of thought.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Act as a representative, agent, administrator or coordinator of national or foreign institutions dedicated to education and training in the development of thought.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Carry out actions aimed at obtaining fi nancial resources and equipment for training and capacity building centers, channeling national and international\noffers and donations, service provision and research contracts that benefit Ecuadorian education, allowing the full fulfillment of its purposes.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Sign and execute technical, scientific, social and educational cooperation agreements for the purpose of designing, directing and managing projects, programs and works related to its objectives.<\/li>\n \t
  • * Associate with individuals or organizations with the same purpose, national or foreign, for specific projects or work or for the fulfillment of institutional purposes, forming associations, consortia or any other type of agreement permitted by law.<\/li>\n \t
  • * In general, carry out all those activities that, although not prohibited by law, contribute to the achievement of its purposes and objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>

    \nAlong these lines and during its short history, one of the greatest proposals with which FEMAS has contributed to Ecuadorian education is its Educational Program for Creativity and Innovation -PECI-, aimed at primary and secondary schools.<\/span>

    \n\nThis program seeks to promote the Methodology for the Development of Thought and Emotions in schools and colleges throughout the country. In 2019, it began with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Guayaquil, which after a few months, stopped participating. Even so, the program reached a coverage of 19 educational institutions and almost 5,000 students who benefi ted. It should be noted that the PECI lasts 3 years and presents a holistic proposal to educational centers that covers both directors, teachers and students.<\/span>

    \n\nIn 2020 and 2021, due to the pandemic and its effects, the program was paralyzed; however, the need to continue with what had been started was a clamor expressed by the recipient schools and also the founding spirit that drove us to continue this great work that already reflected the first results.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
